Adam Hughes (born August 25, 1989) is a former American football quarterback who played in the Carhles Football League for ten seasons. He played college football at Arizona State University for the Sun Devils. He was drafted by the Michigan Motors in the 2011 CFL Draft. While playing for the Michigan Motors, Hughes led them to two championship wins in CFL Bowl LXXVIII and LXXXIV. In 2017, Hughes signed with the Jacksonville Jets, where he would go to the playoffs with that team as well. After not playing well in the latter half of his tenure with the Jets, he did not play in the 2020 season and retired in 2022. (Full article)

CFL REGULAR SEASON EXPANDS TO FOURTEEN GAMES

December 7, 2023 – Carhles News Service – CNS

After much request for decades, the Carhles Football League will expand their regular season to fourteen games, up from the eleven which has been the standard since their inaugural season in 1935. The league intends to add three more divisional games to "entice bigger rivalries among divisions". They announced the start of their 2024 season will be the first with fourteen games.

The league has also announced they will be looking at different markets around the league for four more expansion teams, electing to add one per division, possibly starting at the 2025 season. It is unknown if the league will expand their playoff bracket.
